When did your problem start?
As soon as I start adding dps lineup spells this seems to occur. If I start with a blank (new) KA ini then he is sticking like I want.

If a lot of the dps spells are on cooldown the ranger tends to run in to melee, but if they aren't he gets stuck casting from afar (outside of melee range so his auto attacks aren't connecting) rather than first running to stick in melee range and casting thereafter.
Hey all,

Been working on my ranger ini trying to always get him to melee 100% of the time. Without 100% success. He seems to get stuck casting his dps spells sometimes rather than running in to melee first, and then start casting them. If I disable the dps spell lineup, he sticks like a boss (like my bard). But as soon as I have the ini enabled with the dps lineup - then he isn't always running in to stick to the mob and melee. He can get stuck just with autoattack outside of range and just be casting his dps weaves.

Based on the fact that he sticks great without the dps weaves on - I'm guessing it has to do with the dps lineup settings I have and I need to change something there... is my logic correct there? Maybe I need to make the dps weave start at a later percent? It's just sad he can't just start right away! Been pulling my hair at this and hopefully I've just simply overlooked something basic!?

@lalle85 Change the hp % in your dps and melee sections. Melee at 99, spells 97 96 94. I think your getting bottle necked because every thing is set to same hp%, so it all starts at the same time. Also you could lower the camp Radius and melee distance, so mob gets closer to you. R 30. MD 50. melee assist at 99. first spell 97. He goes in for melee first, then starts adding spells. One spell has been added You may not have to change the dps interval with dps=1. Dps=2 will use hp% to set cast order. One started it will repeat unless interval delays the the recast. Turn on time stamp and spam your dps entries to see how long it takes to complete. The interval sets a timer needs to be greater than the time it takes you to to empty your dps section. If i'm reading it right, interval is a timer that start with first spell cast. Right now is ok to recast every 2 seconds. Update kiss to 12, go to new Kiss 12 manual, dps setting for ini section .
 
A lot of the time this happens because the Tank/MA engages a mob to far away from the melee toon. Set your ReturnToCamp=1 so the toon is closer to the center of camp. And with melee characters it helps if their camp location is close to the tank/MA's location. Also make your melee characters MeleDistance is slightly larger than the MA/tanks MeleDistance.
