Nothing to do with mq2, but wondering if anyone can help. I thought wineq2 was supposed to run eq better, but I'm having serious issues, lol. If I run the game thru the launcher(and play in fullscreen) I get around 100fps or more. But when i launch it thru wineq2, I'm getting 20fps or less. I've gotta have borderless windowed mode...so playing in full screen is a huge pita for me. Anyone experiencing this ? I've tried adjusting the playnice settings and raising the fps for foreground, but since I never reach the default 40 it doesn't change anything

I use WinEQ2.. and have been doing so for years ... The EQPlayNice plugin is a godsend.... able to box like a champ with zero lag.

One thing to keep in mind. that might be MUCKING you up... Disable EQ and MQ2 FPS components. Otherwise you have EQ limiting FPS... and MQ2 fighting to limit FPS and WinEQ attempting its own limitation for FPS.

I had the same issue until i just picked one FPS limitation method.

EQ FPS is configured in the display tab of options... ( Disable it ).
If you have MQ2FPS loaded.... ( DIsable it )
Just use the native .. out of the box.. settings for foreground/background frame limitation that is set up when you first install WInEQ2 ,,, I tried messing with the settings to optimize it.. but found out whats set in the install is the most efficient...

Hope this helps.
