Where are you going first in Velious?

What is the first item that bites at the nostalgia in the back of your head? Release is only a few short weeks away for Ragefire and Lockjaw!

I'll obviously keep an eye on track on my way to Dragon Necropolis to get my few melees some statless 1:1 weps!

I don't think I've had this much hype since the original release of, Planes of Power!

I'm sure a hundred other people have the same idea but I'm gonna race for Stormfeather / Lodizal. With Lodizal officially being "buffed" it will be interesting to see how tough he is now.

Vote will be in the first week of March and Release will be 2-3rd week in March For Ragefire anyway. Is lockjaw on a slower schedule still?

Yes I'm excited as well, hopefully he cant be one grouped by VP folks right out of the gate. The reduction in pet effectiveness based on how many are in the battle is going to make for an interesting expac, mage armies have met their demise.

I am only running 3 Mages and 2 Necros for pet classes out of 3 groups, I shouldn't be much affected by the pet changes. But I know others that will. Vox can be Maged down by 5 mages and a Bard still if no adds.

"Player Pets: Summoned companions are pretty strong. We've brought magician and necromancer pets more in line with how they were in classic EverQuest, and we plan to buff to them the levels they are on live servers when Lost Dungeons of Norrath goes live on progression servers.

The strength of player pets is pretty noticeable in raid content. To solve this, raid targets on progression servers have been given a new ability called "Mark of the Old Ways." This ability targets magician and necromancer pets and will reduce the melee damage dealt and increase the melee damage received by 2% for every 3 pets attacking the raid target. This change is intended to provide diminishing returns to the effectiveness of summoned companions as compared to players against these raid targets."

I'm guessing so, no news of a vote of any kind on LJ. Getting pretty bored with Kunark, I think LJ has at least another 2 months left for a vote. We got kunark around Halloween if memory serves, we were supposed to get it on Dec 3rd but it got released a month early so April is when we're due for our kunark vote. End of April actually, vote will pass early the following month

I don't think that will be an issue. The server is pretty populated and everyone is talking of Velious. I think the server would die without another expac when its due. Everyone has been liquidating gear for Krono for about the last 2-3 weeks in anticipation for it. Prices are ridiculously low on the top tier items. I geared my baby SK in Full incaradine + a Shard of Night for 1 Krono lol
