Jhara, not saying guilds will block you from keying, but you are going to have to get rifts from emperor ssra, which to my knowledge will still require more than eighteen toons in PoP.

No worries bro, best of luck in your endeavors. Seems you already know its about enjoying the game, you will do well 
Emp is do-able with 18 if you can handle the add mobs by either Area Taunt pulling Emp down to Rhag 2 or keeping them locked down normally.
Being that most boxers on Ragefire have quit because of guilds causing drama/training I hardly think that it's the boxers stirring the pot.
Those boxers mentioned by Augmentor have boxed content that nobody else has been able to 3-4 box on Ragefire or any server when the content was relevant, ie: Avatar of War, Vulak, Lady Nevedaria, Lord Vyemm.

I was going to say something else here but decided it wasn't even worth it. I hope they release a Ragefire with instances, that would be great. =)

I'd be curious to know how people are able to kill targets like that with just 3 or 4 boxes. That's pretty awesome.

No one is blocking you but you wont get a Planes Rift from Emp without a guild. 2 of the guilds have an agreement to share rifts if organized before the event. You wont be able to do the event without 1 of the 3 main guilds since no other guilds on the server are geared or have the numbers to kill him.
Once Pop releases the gear from t3 forwards in comparable or better anyway so unless there is a specific clicker you want from VT this late in the expac I wouldnt worry about it.
for me its more about CAN I do it. I'm not going to fight with guilds over mobs, also Raid gear from the previous expansion for the most part is always Slightly better and I have 18-24 accounts to gear.
Sure I could just skip Vt when pop is out and fight for the ornate, Or if it's possible I could just farm vt and some ornate.

I personally wont even be working hard to finish shards on my 3rd group in the near future this close to PoP. Time vs reward just isn't there. IMO PoP gear would drop faster than getting in the VT rotation and how long it would take to clear trash in VT with 18-24 toons, shoot me in the face right meow.
Lol, I must say I agree....keying a huge box crew for VP, VT, or any grindy key quest is a NO
