Instructions

1. Use the Patchme command to bypass the SOE Launcher
2. Download the Very Vanilla compile zip file at the bottom of this post.
3. Download the RGUpdater or grab it out of the Very Vanilla compile zip file.
4. Use the RGUpdater to update your MacroQuest files. Instructions are here.
5. Run MacroQuest2.exe from that folder
6. Run EverQuest.exe
7. In-Game, type "/plugin <plugin name>" to add all plugins you wish to use
8. Click Here for Plugin Commands/Descriptions.

Updated for today's patch

Common issues:

• If EverQuest crashes when trying to log in, make sure you're using the newest RGUpdater.
• If you're using Internet Explorer and having issues with "attachment.php" or Smartscreen Filter please read here. Or just use any other browser.

Had a strange issue with google chrome, finally switched to IE to get the download to work fine.

Ever since IE6 (at least this vulnerability. There were plenty more before this came about...) And seriously, people still use IE?

EDIT: Also, downloaded the compile with chrome and opera just fine. What issue did you have?

That's by design. We want to make them sperate downloads.
Also make sure you're using RGUpdate 1.0.3 to avoid crashes in EQ.

If you are referring to macroquest2.exe I changed it cause it was long overdue for an update, I'm still working on it you should read the last few months of changes in changes.txt for more info.
I can say that it's still being worked on and more is coming.

i got a question not sure the right section but i figure i'll try here, how can i /who all someone who is on /role and see their level race and current zone i know sometimes who i /who all people that info shows up in the MQ2 window and shows all that data despite being on /anon or /role

if they aren't in your zone you can't. If they are in the zone you can

/echo ${Target.Race} ${Target.Level}

Well the patch broke MQ2. Only reason why I was forced to patch was because i zoned and crashed my group
