Problem - Using items to buff others in group not working as expected?

Trying to use Rod of Infinite Thought to give other characters Clarity
Does not seem to be working the same way as using a spell
Buffs1 will cast on the Enchanter but not Wiz and Cleric
Buffs2 will cast on enchanter+wiz+clr


I can click off Brilliance on Wiz and enc will rebuff the wiz
I can click off Brilliance+Clarity on ENC and the enc will rebuff both on herself

Have you tried removing the |caster flag, and see if it tries to buff the whole grp?

Ive never tried buffing individuals other than self with single target items...

I think items are hard coded to buff yourself.

Lizardboy is correct... not ALL.. but MOST item clicky casting items for spell levels below 65 are self usable only. And almost always restricted to being usable by only the class that can actually cast the spell itself.

Lucy RAW data on item for database entries show it as self usable only.
