Question - Turning off combat stickiness (1 Viewer)

Recently I'm dabbling in getting outside of my boxed group and joining others to do stuff. I always cringe when my character(s) sprint at light speed around to stay on top of a mob, and I know that it makes it very obvious that I'm using MQ2.

Is there a social hotkey I can set up to quickly stop melee sticking altogether?

easy one is

/stick off
or under mq2melee you can do /melee stick=0 then /melee save

that should stop the auto stick or can also do

/plugin mq2melee unload

but then you will have to actually play your toon.

Okay, and then presumably I can just /stick on when I'm ready to resume?

I think theres a command something like /backoff that makes them stop, and then you can do /backoff again to make them go.

Wouldn’t “/stick loose” accomplish what he wants? It’s less crazy than straight “/stick”

His method turns off mq2melee in its entirety (until you log out).

Yes, but the others didn't change anything with how I was chasing mobs as they moved.
