Hey guys,

I am trying to make my SK's tank ini more efficient in its use of the AE aggro spell / AA's...

Right now, I basically just have them in the AE section with a |2 or w/e by them so they trigger if i have more than 1 mob on my xtar.. What i am seeing using kiss 11, I will get a bunch of mobs on my xtar, the AE |2 or |3 will trigger, and fire off my AE aggro AAs, the mobs will all get to 100.. but then lets say i get a mob spawn nearby, it adds, but decides to target my cleric or whomever else.. I will not automatically fire off an AE aggro because I've already used mine up and waiting for cooldown.. and usually even with one of them ready, it doesnt seem to care because i have 100 aggro on my current target

What i want to do though, is not just fire them all off at once, rather I want them to get activated as it sees my other xtar mobs drop below 100... Would do this via the use of conditions, but in the playing with this so far, i havent found a **single command** that does this.. it almost seems like i need to create a subroutine to do this check..

I was going to add these AE aggro AA's (Explosion of Spite, Explosion of Hatred, Stream of Hatred) to my DPS section with conditions to do this check.. but as said above, no luck finding a single command or TLO to check against..

Once i have this done and tested, I will post here.. but in the meantime, anyone able to help with pointing me in the right direction?

Cheers,
Lordeth

You can take a look at how deathlock runs his SK. He runs eqmule's mod so quite a bit is in the ohshit section, but here is his AE stuff that does the type of check you want via "${Me.XTAggroCount[99]} > 0" So you could redo this as AE conditions or DPS section entries.
Code:
// AOE
OhShit10=Explosion of Spite
OhShit11=Explosion of Hatred
OhShit12=Insidious Denial Rk. II
OhShit13=Hateful Baragin Rk. II
OhShitCond10=${Me.AltAbilityReady[Explosion of Spite]} && ${SpawnCount[npc radius 25 zradius 10]} > 1 && ${Me.XTAggroCount[99]} > 0
OhShitCond11=${Me.AltAbilityReady[Explosion of Hatred]} && ${SpawnCount[npc radius 25 zradius 10]} > 2 && ${Me.XTAggroCount[99]} > 0
OhShitCond12=${SpawnCount[npc radius 25 zradius 10]} > 1 && ${Me.XTAggroCount[99]} > 0  || ${SpawnCount[npc radius 25 zradius 10]} > 1 && ${Me.XTAggroCount[99]} > 0 && ${Me.PctHPs} < 65
OhShitCond13=${SpawnCount[npc radius 25 zradius 10]} > 2 && ${Me.XTAggroCount[99]} > 0  || ${SpawnCount[npc radius 25 zradius 10]} > 2 && ${Me.XTAggroCount[99]} > 0 && ${Me.PctHPs} < 65

My simple version was to set AE entries for Spite at |2 and Hatred at |4, so the first few mobs get a quick aggro blast and if more show up you have another blast.
Code:
[AE]
AEOn=1
AERadius=50
AESize=12
AE1=Explosion of Spite|2
AE2=Fundament: Third Spire of the Reavers|2
AE3=Shield Flash|3
AE4=Scourge Skin|3
AE5=Tylix's Carapace|3
AE6=Visage of Decay|3
AE7=Cursed Guardian Discipline|4
AE8=Explosion of Hatred|4
AE9=Blood Drinker's Coating|4
AE10=Chattering Bones|4
AE11=Visage of Death|5
AE12=Krellnakor Mantle|5
AECOn=0

Thanks, my ini was set up pretty much as you have yours..

I'm watching a bit closer, and what seems to be happening alot is that my bard's AE mez is causing a mem-wipe on some mobs.. which then drop off the aggro list, then re-add very shortly after.. but as you can guess, my AE hate AA's are still used and sitting in cooldown.. Its very odd that this is occurring because it never used to.. only recent.. Luck affects the mez / memwipe ?

This is mainly occurring in T2 RoS zones.. mainly gor and VP.. real pain in the ass due to lots of mobs in a given fight..

Thanks for finding deathloks one, I must have missed it... I've tried some similar to his, but I'm going to try using those and see how they work..

Between two spell ae and two AA ae, you need to use a mix of spell ready / AA ready conditions and xtaggrocount to cascade the use of them

There is every chance multiple ae spell fire for a single add which leaves you with nothing for further adds, so you need to cascade/stagger thier use

Ie spellonecond=xtaggrocount[99]>0
Spelltwocond=!castready[spellone] & & xtaggrocount[99]>0

Etc
