Question - Toon tries to pull Benson

Hi all,
I have a group of EQ toons in Dragon Scale Hills and my puller/tank keeps tring to pull Sir Orwell. This would be ok except he doesn't fight just keeps walking. After a while she ends up away from the group and gets killed by other NPCs and ends up back in the Guild hall. Is there a way to keep her from trying to pull him? I can't figure it out.

Taking a shot at this. Your kissassist_info.ini file will be in either VeryVanilla > MQNext > Release > config folder if you are using MQNext or VeryVanilla > Live > Release > Macros folder if you are using MQ2. There are sections for zones in this file and you should find one labeled Dragon Scale Hills and add the full name of the mob to the MobstoIgnore section.

/addignore[edit]

Add ignore can be used to add Mob ID's to a list. In situation where the Mobs name won't work for ignoring mobs when pulling, you can tell the /addignore command to use the ID instead.

Usage Example: /addignore ${Target.ID} 1

This will tell kissassist to maintain a list of ID's in the variable named MobsToIgnoreByID. This list is dynamic and is reset every time kiss is started.

The good thing with this command is you can run it while playing - no need to edit any files as per Homie's suggestion.

Just type /addignore Sir_Orwell

You can use partial names etc to, and it will tell you in the MQChat window if it has found the mob and added it.

Thanks to both of you! As I'm not one for editing files unless there is an absolute must, (because I suck at it) I'm going to go with Szazor's suggestion.
