I thought to try this and then decided against it. Since my cleric is on the only account I have a char to kill on.. I decided against it

try charming a mob ? cant remember if there are any lvl 70's in zone ( for hard version )but use ancient charm and then hand him the books.. might work might not.. worth a shot though. also handing the books outside the instance wont work as it didnt work before it was nerfed i doubt it works now.

they changed the eyeballs so they destroy whatever you give them... if you give them 4 books they destroy random 3. if you give them 3 items then a book they destroy them all and leave you with a malachite or peridot.

Anyone test to see if the eye's still give the random zone drops and gems from 69.1?

yes.. i got a machalite... when i tried this .. and lost most of my pages 8-)
