I've installed the RoF client and an emulator on a Linux PC on my network. I enabled local login. All working great.

So I spun up a 6box and they are in the tutorial. I have 6 windows stacked. All toons connected to EQBC server fine. . When I press follow me or come to me, but no-one moves until I move their window to the top of the heap, and then they path to me. Then if I move then next EQ window to the top, they come to me. Pretty unusable :(

I've used MQ Vanilla on live and it works fine. Any idea what I could be doing wrong please?

Fixed it. GPU was bottleneck. Turned off some of the Advanced features so that each instance is now taking 5-10% of GPU and now everyone behaves as expected

Could you explain what settings you changed so others having the same issue can see what you did to fix this?

Thanks,
Jeet

In mq2 there is a plugin called mq2EQWire, make sure that is loaded on all of your toons, it makes a huge difference. It's similar to the background framelimiter that is built into MQNext.

Hrmm - just occurred to me looking at my settings that it's not using my RTX2080..

So I opened my Windows graphics settings, added eqgame and set it to use Nvidia.

Now things look better:
