Went to DL , hailed Mara for tasks and she s just proposong me Medium tasks
Tried 3 times always had Medium so decided to undertake one : filth the goblins but kills required on 3rd part = 10 goblins flame master in droga to beat down, am on it at moment, unlimited time for that task

The Taskmaster in the back of dreadlands in the city area is an Iksar. I honestly have no idea if that helps with Kos or not, but you might want to try.

I have done several of these taks and nice xp for little work. Having a problem with the following task...

Ruins Everywhere

LOIO - /zone lakeofillomen
LOIO - Outcast ruins /warp loc 3308.81, 1766.17, 76.00

DL - /zone dreadlands
/target Maran - /warp target - new task

when I warp to the loc for the Outcast Ruins in LOIO (warp loc 3308.81, 1766.17, 76.00) I am actually stuck in the ground. If I succor out and or change the last number to where I am actually above ground still nothing and appear to be nowhere near the ruins. The succor point appears to be very close to the goal spot. I have invised and ran around the ruins for several minuets and cant find the damn trigger spot. Anybody have a good loc for this?? (toon is 66 Beastlord)

CAUTION:
All of the KC /warp loc take you into the middle of action. Be prepared to hotfoot it out of there. The actions in the other zones can all be readily achieved with normal movement.

Got it figured out....look like you combined 2 tasks. This is how is really works. Mark this day down... I have a solution rather and problem or question.

Made the mistake I guess of leveling my Beastlord to 67. All the tasks I was doing for xp using the short cuts are no longer available. The Task Master in DL and Gunthak will only give me one choice and it involves killing mobs which obviously slows things down. Does anybody know of another Task Masker that gives out tasks that can be done in 5 min using warp or should I bite the bullit and de-level him so I can build my aa's up?? Any help would be appreciated. The main thing is even on days I work and dont really have time to play in the evenings, I can make 1 AA a day easily.

it has a mouse trace function

ok ok here me out

make your hot keys. and add one that does the gm check(thats possible right?)

when u warp to the task giver...
do the hail the window opens.. (same place each time)
the mouse trace would sync and click where it needs to

You can also use a mq2 command to put the mouse where you want it to and to left or right click. I remember reading that when I looked through the manual but cant remember the commands to do it.

First, all xp i get goes to regular xp 10% and AA xp 90%
This way with short tasks, i get a bit more than 2 blues on AA xp per task which is 10%. Not bad as you don t have to kill any mob

Want to maximize easy XP?
do a short task
befor the final hail, cast Lessons of the devoted : XP x2 for 30mns
do final hail
run your character to task master and log off for remaining waiting time to get new task, 25 mns or do most of the time
play another toon 25/30 mns then log off anf log back Task Character
Do a task, should take you 5mns max and then play the other char again
You should be able to do 5 or 6 tasks with 1 lessons of Devoted
For your info, i did the last short task Assistant Vagli proposed me in Gunthak, i will post it later BUT i checked my XP bar with the final hail :
my 65 shammy got 3 blues WITHOUT lessons of devoted on
Not bad !

I also tried to talk to Cadale Brohat, another task master in Gunthak.
Most of time (90%), she proposed me medium tasks, because i did all short ones from Vagli. But from to time, you can get a short task. Thus, i was able to do twice Imports and exports and Quick dip but you won t get new short task.

I also tried to move to Overthere.
There are 4 tasks masters there, 2 in town - Finlay and Uggrig - but me is KOS there....... so i talked to Klok g'rshai somewhere in zone.
And you know what?
He proposed me all short tsks i already got from Mara in Dreadlands !
And i can do them all a second time

I went to the taskmaster in Dreadlands and tried to get one of the tasks above with my lvl 60 chanter. Needless to say, not one of them showed up on my lists, however, I have found 13 different short tasks! They are:

1. Balancing Act
2. Lush Gardens
3. Interesting Hall
4. What tall pillars
5. Wax in your ears
6. To the castle!!!
7. Lands of Dread
8. Dreaded Giants
9. Waxing the Knight (what?? wax his legs maybe :p )
10. Cave of Death Salts
11. Krup and their spirits
12. Guardians of the Cave
13 The show must go on

If any are interested, I will try to find the locs for these, or if any have found the locs, please post here for me so I don't run around like a chicken with no head! :p

I realize that the tasks are lvl based, but are they class based too?

When doing the tasks you will understand better. Everything is just going to different locations. When ya get there your task gets updated.

You will see at the end There is a warp to target and a hail. Hailing the NPC competes the task and you get the reward.

Instead of warping to the target just get in same zone and /hail When you have the npc targeted.. You can be invis or FD and the npc still rewards YOU.

Dont /say hail for some odd reason if you do that the NPC will tell ya to take a hike cause he is waiting for someone important.

First time I was doing these tasks The Npc told me he was waitin for someone important. So I camped him for 6 hours hoping to kill that someone special. Then it dawned on me the important person he was waiting for was me.

You do not get double xp for completing the task. You only get double xp for combat. I just confirmed by direct experiment: 14% AA xp (3.5 blue bars) both with and without Lessons active.

...but I LOVE that 14%!!! Best tip I ever got off this site ('ceptin how to get MQ up and running)

They are quest for lvl 65+, but in the begenning of this thread you have some for lvl 45+ so just add them and you will be able to use this macro...

I dont really like it, warping and zoning all around the world in front of everybody is too risky for me, I prefer FH...
