This isn't a big tip but it has proven well for me for the last couple months building teams up.
Over the last couple of months, we've had various quarks where a tank goes idle or otherwise doesn't respond to mobs in the camp area. When you are at your keys, this is a non-issue as you simply target and move him and back to action he went. If you were afk however, if the tank hung up and went idle, any wandering mobs (green if your farming usually) would come along and steadily eat each character in turn. What I started doing since my puller was a bard in this scenario, is I started setting him up as a pullertank instead of puller. My tank would still be set up with tank option and all agro settings in his ini. When the mob came into the camp, the tank when normal function is working would take agro and go to town. If the tank was hung or idle though, the bard would immediately go on the attack with the pull and hold agro until otherwise taken from the tank. While I think most of the causes for the idle tank have been worked through etc, I've not had the abundance of camp wipes and the frustration of the WTF happened scenario's anymore. I would not recommend this if you're trying to pull hard hitting mob's that just melts anyone outside your tank but in general farming. I've also seen the tank hung up while the bard stepped in and did the work unstick itself after awhile too and go back to working. Oh yeah, I also have one of the DPS characters in the group target the bard instead of the tank for assist as well. That way at least one of the DPS is helping kill the mob when the hung situation presents itself. When everyone is working correctly, then all the DPS is on the pulled mob regardless. It's just more buffer and security from wipes from my runnings. Just thought I'd share.
