Problem - StuckGemCheck Issue

Greetings -

As of today, Dec 13, 2021, my mage suddenly cant use call of the heros group summon. It shows "stuck gem detected" in MQ2 window, but it doesnt work even when MQ2 isnt loaded.

Any thoughts on the fix because using single COH really, really sucks !

you get "stuck gem detected" while trying to use your AA call of the heros with macroquest unloaded?

I don't think that is accrute.

Are you sure you're not trying to manually cast something (like AA) with something like kissassist running, and since you have checkforstuckgems=1 on, it interrupts you with origin?

you didn't post in a location that would identify, or mention what automation you're using (and i think the mq2 not loaded isn't really a thing)

Let me clarify --- when I have MQ2 loaded and I try to use the spell call of the heros group summon, it shows "stuck gem detected" in MQ2 window. But, if I use the spell call of heros without MQ2 loaded, it just fails.

Alternatively, the AA call of hero works, but I'm so damn lazy COHing each toon 1 at a time sucks.

I dont think this is a MQ2 problem, but, just looking for input to fix this. It was working yesterday no problem.

are you running a macro while this is happening?

I just manually cased my call of the heroes group summon spell successfully

and also had mq2mage cast it successfully




it really sounds to me like you have kissassist running, then manually try and cast a spell, and kissassist interrupts you with the "CheckForStuckSpellGem" check and cancells

you can turn that off in your kissassist ini

change this from an =1 to =0
CheckStuckGem=0

Your Origin spell is interrupted.


These messages appears with MQ2 loaded. I dont konw if I see these when MQ2 isn't loaded.

I'm running MQ2 / KA and usually run around with mage and summon group all the time. Like I said, it just bailed starting this afternoon.

What the hell, I just saw the fix you posted, trying that now !

you would not see a message from kissassist without kissassist running, which requires mq/mq2 loaded.

you can turn that off in your kissassist ini

change this from an =1 to =0
CheckStuckGem=0


you can either turn off the "checkstuckgem" in your kissassst ini

or any time that you need to go and do something manual you would want to /mqp on to pause your kissassist macro, and then /mqp off when you want to unpause it

Thanks for your help. Just to confirm I have been looking for the file in the macros directory named kissassist_<toon>.ini to change that value ? I have done that and the problem persists.

The only thing that changed today was I had deleted call of the heroes spell from gem 12, and then reloaded it in 12 today, and that is when problem presented.

you would either have to restart kissassist or type /kasettings to get it to restart.

would suggest just pausing kissassist if you're going to do something manually like i mentioned earlier with the /mqp on and /mqp off

After changing those settings last night and giving it a rest thru the night, it is working this morning.
