is there way to completely stop the macro (or all macros generally) running?

ive tried mqp, it doesnt seem to work properly. my bard keeps twisting for instance, when i want it to stop so i can invis the group and move to another zone.

im new to mq2, so its all a little bit overwhelming right now, and im struggling a bit to find this info.

I use a social on my main

/bct bardname //mqp
/bct bardname //twist off
/bct bardname //alt activate 231
/bct bardname //mqp

Oh also bear in mind sometimes if you /twist off with the bard and it is twisting when you pause the macro the twist will still carry on.
so it's best to double check the bard and carry out the social again if necessary.

/end which is short for /endmacro --- this will stop any macro

this is great. Maybe I missed it in the beginner video tutorials, but if it isn’t there, I feel like these commands should be included

So /end works to kill the macro. I used find, clicked on a zone and off I went. /end did not cancel this when I was going to run into trouble. What turns off find?

well the /end just ends a macro that is running - it doesn't stop any other behavior.

the running off with find is easyfind using mq2nav

we have some recommended hotkeys you can make - if you copy/paste these into the game it will create a button for you
INI:
/hot StopMe 13 /squelch /multiline ; /afollow off ; /stick off ; /moveto off ; /nav stop ; /play off
/hot StopAll 13 /bcaa //squelch /multiline ; /afollow off ; /stick off ; /moveto off ; /nav stop ; /play off
/hot StopGrp 13 /bcga //squelch /multiline ; /afollow off ; /stick off ; /moveto off ; /nav stop ; /play off

something that I personally do is adjust my mq2 nav settings

/nav ui to pull up the mq2nav window
Then go to settings tab
and then adjust the "break behavior"
I, personally, use stop navigation --- this means when i press wasd, it will cause mq2nav to stop

Thanks Sic! I was really close to not using it anymore because of trees and mobs. Hopefully this addresses those issues. That is for another day with a few less beers.
