I'm wondering about some function that assesses how long a mob is likely to live given its hps and dps, so I can determine whether certain debuffs are necessary. I was hoping MaxHPs would work but...denied. I suppose I can do it by looking at the % instead of raw hps.

i dont think theres anything in eq or mq that will allow you to know the hps of a mob. long ago eq sent all that to your client, but no longer.

if you wanted to do it really complicated, you could probably figure out a way to make a table with manual entry of whatever mobs and their listed or observed max hps via parser. then use calc command to use the % of that value and return a numeric value.
