Question - SOLVED: Pullertank standing in camp while merc gets beat to death

I still haven't determined exactly why this is happening as some of my more elegant attempts to fix this problem haven't worked, but I do seem to have found a workaround for the moment.

In the Assist function, under the line:

/if ((${MainAssist.Equal[${Me}]} || ${Select[${Role},tank,pullertank,pullerpettank]}>0) && !${Me.Hovering} && ${AggroTargetID}) {

I simply added,

/attack on

If you're using MQ2Navigation, this will cause your pullertank/tank to immediately path to your current target and engage. It's an ugly hack but hasn't seemed to have any bad side effects. I hope this helps others out there seeing this!

Yep, definitely an ugly hack, but it's been working beautifully for 3+ days now. I also reduced the timer that waits for mobs to return to camp in case it's a caster that ends up aggroing my cleric. Looking forward to kiss 7!
 
I've been having the same problems with KissAssist 6, but I haven't noticed it in KissAssist 7.

I thought it had to do with the distance my tank was willing to engage at (what he believed was "camp") but upgrading to KissAssist 7 seemed to have worked.
 
Correction, tank is still pulling then sitting there doing nothing while it dies.

I have noticed that pulling with someone else prompts the tank assist rather quickly though.
 
I have a similar problem.

SK is my pullertank and if he looses agro to to my cleric, he just stands there and let's him die.

I think it might have to do with my campradius, cause I like to have my casters positioned a bit further behind me.

Gonna try to set campradius on my SK a bit higher and see if that solves it.

Don't do that it will fuck up your pulling.

How the fuck does a cleric pull aggro off an SK?
 
The HP aura or a HoT still ticking? That's the only things I can think of.

Tried pulling with provoke and hate spell, but 1/20 pulls the mob goes for the cleric during the pull and my sk just stands there holding his #*%# hehe
 
Your cleric is likely healing hella early and getting massive agro (because that's what heals do). Pull agro is a good boost for your tank, but won't compete (initially) with your heals.

What are your cleric heals set to?
 
pull with ______ for power.. it by far the best agro spell an sk get
and i havent tried this but try

That's what I pull with for my tank as well. Although atm, to correct this issue, I'm pulling with a slow from my BST.

I have only changed 2 of your spells around, but your HoT generates massive aggro.

I am out of ideas now, only thing I can think of is set the campradius a bit higher, but Maskoi says it will screw up pulling.
 
Your tank can't aggro a mob off of any toon that is 50 100 200 away.
What are you pulling with? Might need to experiment with aggro pulling spells. turn off challenge of power in mq2melee and pull with that. Or high level snares with the dot component are high aggro too but that can get you summoned depending on what zone you are in. CampRadius=50 is probably the highest you want to go but if park your cleric right next to the tank and maybe even toss an ae aggro spell in dps at like |98 you should never have aggro problems. either that or go the baz and get the cleric some gear and defensive aas.

depending on the zone i swap out Terror of Poira for Demand for power
 
I already tried pulling with everything, it doesn't seem to be helping.

Every once in a while the mob goes straight for the cleric, even when sk pulls with full health.

Sk just stands there while the mob is pounding my cleric. If I move him a bit closer manually he engages, that's why I thought to set the radius a bit higher.
 
Dutch, try setting someone else to be your puller and have your tank peel off them. I've set up my group like this to force my tank to assist at 100% and it's working. It's not optimal because I'd like my Sk to have pull agro, but I get to xp without the fuss.

Perhaps this can help in the meantime.
 
Mordail, that's definitely going to be plan B.

Gonna try out the campradius=50 and if that's not working I am gonna set my ENC to pull =)
 
Are you using voice of thule? Also did you have a mask with hate mod on it? Those 2 and pull with demand and you shouldn't have any trouble.
