Question - So you wanna make a macro (1 Viewer)

This question goes out to all of the people that create macros.

What programming language are the macros written in?

I have a few ideas and would like to try, then submit them for the community.
give a little back, per-say.

I have been digging around to find information about this but cannot see anything, i thought i saw
an old post about the programming language but i cannot find it again.

I had started (and never finished) a video series on getting started with the basics. I ended up writing a few threads to cover some of the rest buy a video always seemed better for me to learn.
