Question - Seeing ctwn dps after fights?

Hi folks,

I'm running cwtn for my SK/2xMag/Cleric and regular KissAssist for my bard/wiz. Loving cwtn so far but I have one question. After every kill, I see the DPS done by my bard and wizzy in my KA window, which is kinda cool. Is there a way to also see the dps done by the cwtn toons in the same window?

the cwtn class plugins don't report damage.
you should use a log parser to parse your fights if you want to see that

some folks use dpsadv (i personally don't recommend it because it is very limited in what it can do)

gamparse or eqlogparser is what you want

Strange, at least to me, that KA can report damage but cwtn doesn't. Anyways, no biggie. I find the log parsing solutions to be less useful (too much work lol).

kiss has some built-in stuff it pulls from mq2dpsadv. we don't have any plans of doing anything like that.

imo, you should use one of the aforementioned dps things if you're curious about your dps and such - gives you a lot more information and it is built-in with a cool overlay and such

Eqlogparser is great because it's also a full gina replacement in addition to a full featured parser. Gina is no longer maintained and breaks often.

anyone notice dps down after the patch yesterday ???? dpsadv is showing all my toons doing about half of what they where before patch.

They changed filters. I imagine DPSAdv is not picking up any of the newly moved stuff. I doubt the patch change damage number significantly at all and the issue is just with formatting on the log line.


ETA: Just confirming, I checked DPSAdv and it keys off of the chat colors. They added 381-405 to put in the broken out dot, dd, and crits. So those aren't getting processed by DPSAdv at all.

If you are parsing using dpsadv filters are messed up ATM. Your damage is not actually down.
