My team is ready to move out of VoA, but safety is important and RoF is current content. I know most of you won't want to share your special places, but I'm still going to ask:

What are the least visited, toughest to reach, rarely camped areas of RoF in your opinions? I know there won't be anything as good as the far side of Windsong, but I'm hopeful that there are some really nasty places that I can establish camp and have nobody bother me. Places that are required for quest progression and highly sought after items are going to be no-nos.

I only really know the T1/T2 zones, but I'm thinking the deeper parts of grelleth or chapterhouse might be reasonable. Maybe the tunnels in Xorbb.

Evantil might be a good choice if the beaming nerf works, big open area with a decent amount of mobs and a couple spots with no roamers

I'd like to be in a place that your average person "exploring" a zone new to them won't find me without a group to get them in to where I'm holed up. I like the idea of a big open space, but it's easy to get around in the outside area of evantil so that's a no go for me. My chars will /quit out of the game too often from some curious player running by checking the place out or doing a quest. The top of evantil could work since it's a pain to get up there, but I don't think mq2navigation will handle the top of the tree very well for pulling.

The top would be worse I think because the merc quests have you running up and down the tree endlessly. There's a few spots in Heart of Fear that are a pig to get to where there's no named so no real reason for anyone to go to. I think that would suit you best if you want remote but the mobs are tough if you don't have decent gear.

How hard do they hit, and mezzable? Generally my team has a minimum of 5k AAs, all CoTF T1 group geared - SK/Mnk/Clr/Shm/Brd/Wiz

Ah, then you'd have no trouble with mobs, they are mezzable too. The main issue is there is a mix of live and undead mobs that are fairly close together and the odd see invis just for spice, if you cast group invis and group ivu you can run a few of your guys over to camp and set a fire for the others. Generally it isn't too bad to get around as long as you have both invises on you, if you spend a bit of time comparing where named spawn in each of the 3 parts of Heart of Fear you can find a spot no one is going to have any reason to go to or through on their way to a zone line.

The extra bonus is the alaran in there count for leveling up the Tear and you get a much bigger bump per mob than you do in VoA.

Good to know, I appreciate the info. I usually take my Bard, SK, and Monk together to get to tough camps. All 3 can get out of trouble fast and we can usually plop down a campfire without much trouble as long as there's a spot open enough to do so.
