This macro is for Rikkukin's Directional AE's-- It will announce and notify you as to what he's about to do

Just a quick note, these two lines have "opponents" mispelled. So it wasn't reading it back and calling out in raid.

Often in EQ, the announcements/events have double spaces in them, which you won't notice just by looking at it within EQ. Best way to catch those are to llog the messages and cut'n'paste the exact line from the log (I always keep logging on).

I don't know the event, but from past experience I'd say the line probably should look like this:

"#*#Rikkukin's skin seals over with a caustic sheet of malleable ice.  The protection will soon make him impervious to melee and magical attacks.#*#"

Notice the double space here "ice. The". Don't take my word for it though, check in the log

the uber leet strat for this is just to pull him to the back corner and just have your tank turn him around to move his side that is about to go off away from the raid. if that makes sence

What we do is have the tank reverse pin him and have everyone get behind him. When he announces a 'behind' ae, the tank spins the dragon. For the most part, you only have to worry about blind and reflect using this method.


Every 30 seconds he announces his AE.
12-13 seconds later the AE goes off.


It's not that difficult when everyone is awake and paying attention.
