Not exactly sure ifthis can be defined as a bug, however-

On the mage I prefer to use rain spells as this is the best dps, specially with multiples in camp, however if a wave gets resisted it pauses the DPS line until that spell has refreshed again (12secs) which really gimps dps.
So the question is- can it be made to ignore resists??

I'll add this to my plate to look into... it would not fall into the realm of the cast return state upon castwhat calls... because the initial cast was successful.. this is more of a event trigger scenario i think. Guessing without seeing so far.. so just taking a mental stab at it off the top of my head.

One thing though.. please upgrade to v7.6.6 I prefer if you download and use most current available version.. this way we can all be working on the same page...

I'll chime in here and say that it would be awesome to have an ini setting to disable pausing the dps chain on resist. Would rather my mage not pause when a nuke is resisted and move on to the next across the board.

I don't think it suppose to pause on resist. It is just a logic error that has to be corrected.

Reviewed all code associated with casting attempt return of ${Macro.Return.Equal[CAST_RESIST]}

There is nowhere in KissAssist.mac or MQ2Cast_Spell_Routines.inc where we are forcing any delay or wait on a resisted cast spell.

Not in the casting routine, CombatCast, or DPS section of code.

I am NOT able to reproduce this issue with my druid when using his rain spells if a wave fails ... I am not pausing/delaying dps combat casting until the rain spell gem is refreshed.

Will leave ticket open and await user feedback... if no feedback provided within 7 to 10 days... and no re-confirmation that issue is still occuring.. this item will be closed.

Status updated to "waiting on response".

Still pauses on my mage, marked in bold is when resisted wave happens.. I have observed this on other spells too by the way, it's not restricted to rains.

Yea, I see this happen on my Shaman and my mage all the time, but this is an issue in the MQ2Cast Plugin. It is not that big of an issue to me, so I haven't tried to chase down why it is aborting the cast. Someone would have to have the source code to the plugin to be able to figure out this problem.

Well I must admit its not so bad anymore for me either, but when I was farming argin-hiz I would get resists on fire spells, and this would gimp the mage dps severely due to 12sec cast delays..

Thanks for pointing out the issue is in MQ2Cast plugin Ctaylor22... The report Jensen posted clearly shows that the plugin is aborting. I just don't understand why I am unable to reproduce this. Maskoi would know better than I about the MQ2Cast.dll plugin source... that's out of my scope.
