Hey all,

I'm finally finished PL'ing my warrior and now want to get him into the action more often as the primary tank. Up until now I've only used him as melee dps (I know, I know).

I'm finding that getting recently updated 105 warrior .ini's pretty slim, especially ones with the AE agro and other AA's incorporated.

Can someone post their awesome 105 .ini? I don't want to mess with holys much, but if that's how you have it setup and it works, I will take those, too.

you have a nice war in the ini section by karmanation (i use with holy and changed only parts for buff and bp rc )

Thanks, dude. I saw that, but was hoping someone had a newer version. I know some of the AE agro abilities had their syntax changed slightly (I think) and other options were put into Kiss 9. I'll have to take a look. I appreciate the response!

So I took Ninalia's advice and went with the 105 warrior .ini already in the .ini list. I modified it (minimally), and it's working super well. Thanks, dude!

I use that same one with the AOE stuff turned off, my chanter gets mad at my tank when he area taunts shit
 
So far the major issue I have with this .ini is it sucks endurance pretty quickly because it spams a lot of stuff. I may shift it to shits, if necessary, to manage when things fire a bit better and tie it to actual "if" statements.

True, but Breather can only fire when not in combat, and my guy is not in combat very often. I have my puller triggered to stop pulling if the warrior drops below 15% endurance. I have the warrior sit to med at 90% (he'll get up and engage if a mob is pulled because he isn't medding through combat).

I think better management of disc firings would help alleviate the endurance issues. For example, if the endurance-based discs only fired under very specific conditions, like those we could define with nested "if" statements. I may see if I can adjust the numbers of when things fire in the .ini and see how those tweaks work.
 
Set it up to NOT use MQ2Melee, or turn off many of the endurance using spam abilities in MQ2Melee.

IF you have MQ2Melee turned off, and still having an issue, move/remove some of the spam abilities....can put things under heal to only fire if War drops down to 80% or move to aggro section. Or even a defensive set up in the AE section if you pull multiples.

There are many ways of working it to "watch" your End.

Remember...no mater who made the ini, you WILL need to tweak it to fit your group.
 
I'll try the defensive abilities in heals.

I think part of my issue is the agro abilities firing all at once and zapping my endurance. Defensives in the AE section is what I think the .ini already does, but I'd have to check.

My issue is I don't know warriors and their abilities very well (read: not at all). I was hoping to leverage the expertise that some people here have in the class to help me build an efficient configuration file, but I guess I need to slog through all the AA's and discs and everything else and see what I can come up with.
 
I'm at work right now, but I'll post my warrior's ini when I get home.. I'm relatively new to KA (only started using MQ this summer for the first time) but I've spent alot of time tweaking my war's ini, and I'm pretty happy with it now.. I have left him running with my grp (all 105, war, cler, wiz, wiz, cha, bard) parked in the corner at the watcher's spawn and chewed mobs up for hours there, with minimal interruption.. prior to the bard dicho nerf, they went hours with almost no med breaks too..

Side note, how do I post /code /endcode in my posts here? I dont want to just put a wall of text in /newb....

I call it "plug and play" since it can be slapped on any 105 warrior and work instantly, it does everything a warrior should except the spammy abilities which, as you pointed out, gobble your endurance. Also I skip most self buffs since I find KA spams them over and over and over and over indefinitely even when they don't need a refresh.

My warrior's INI is good enough for them to tank all of TBM without any butt puckering moments. Also I have done up to TDS raids with a warrior tanking with that INI.

I have some duplication between some of my burns and holies... I havent tried disabling the holies yet to see how they fire off using KA alone... I'm sorta playing on my SK at the moment... hes just a ton of fun..

Oh, and ignore that pullradius, I was trying to keep my grp working in a tight spot when i changed that.. normally I have it around 650... I used my war as pullertank... seemed to work well.. if i got 1 or 2 adds, chanter'd mez em or I'd just tank em anyway /shrug

Delete Buffs3=Seventh Wind Rk. II| it is on the same timer as breather. It causes breather to time out for 30 minutes

To fully utilize breather set MedStart=15

Your holyshits are overlapping your Kiss AE section this will cause problems. Drop the overlapping holyshits.
