Question - Ranger Ranged DPS?

Does anyone have experience with Rangers Bow DPS at 60? What is that DPS comparable to?

Wonder if 4 or 5 Rangers and a Bard would be decent for DPS if I could tuck them off to the side and fire away.

Ranger bow DPS is significantly lower than their melee DPS save for a couple of expansions (I'm thinking PoP in particular).

yeah I got my ranger up and was like, hell yeah, gonna Bow shot the world like swiss cheese... then I realized his is a straight up melee toon... sad panda...

Ranger's ranged DPS doesn't kick in till he gets in some of the class AA, not to mention some of the arrow spells. They can turn into an EQ machine gun, but it takes time and levels/AA. At 60 they are pretty much still gimpy warriors, from my experience

If you can position them all behind, probably. But monk DPS is very un-classic on the TLP's. I'd do some calculations to see.

Be careful with all that melee, it screams MQ2 and most of the TLP players are little shits that'll report you/train you for it.

At least they're all over LJ. You box melee generally anyone who runs by you says something along the lines of "Nice MQ lol", while they're just words I don't like broadcasting I use MQ to randoms who possess the ability to report me. I've had a number of GMs show up already at my groups, all it'll do is take one while I am AFK getting coffee or taking a piss and over 20 accounts will be lost =(

Yeah was more a half hearted thought, not my first rodeo hence why I was originally thinking rangers. I appreciate your concern though. 16 years not 1 banned account except p99 =p
