Problem - Ragefire attack adds

Hey all I have been struggling with having my 2 other characters attack adds that come into camp after the original mob that I pulled died. Am I missing a command in the ini file or is this just a ragefire issue??

I imagine it has to do with the lack of XTarget information. I haven't looked at the code to find out for sure. But that would be my first guess.

Redguides the Website and its members (admins/devs/moderators), Redbot, Me, ThreeHuginDruid, etc. will not be supporting Ragefire or Lockjaw progression servers.

Redguides as a community is exactly that and is what makes us the best. If those playing on Ragefire want to help each other. That is fine with us.

It has xtarget data just not the UI.

just a piece of advice..yes i know unsolicited.. for the time being you do the pulling right now theirs way to many up tights running around.. just my opinion of course.

If I had to venture a guess it would be because you have aggro on additional mobs beyond what is in camp. I have seen my boxes basically go into pause mode because of aggro that remains on mobs across a zone, in water, etc.

It works. But there are people reporting left and right in all the overcrowded zones. Use it wisely....

Yes. VERY wisely. They are even banning people who chase down fleeing monsters in the way that only MQ2 does . You know, the way it looks like someone rapidly tapping a keyboard?

PS - how do you disable that! I can't figure it out.

Give it up for this guy. He was the last man standing keeping Redguides alive at Notaddicted.com before we moved back to RG FOREVER.

I was doing my own compiles back then. Redbot was lost at sea or in Asia somewhere.

There is a lot of boxer/botting hate going on the Ragefire server. People do not seem to know the difference and are pissed off about "boxers" using any 3rd party software. They seem to think that the boxers are taking up 6 slots on the server not allowing real people to log in. What these fools do not realize is that everyone has to have a all access subscription to log on to Ragefire. It is sad to see how far our educational system has failed us in this country.

There was a post, whether true or not, about someone getting a 4 day suspension for using ISboxer. The GM suposedly used /tells to the other characters but got no response while the characters were still attacking mobs. The anti-boxers hooted about that and should keep banning boxers of all types. They even went as far as suggesting only one client per IP address. These people are delusional.

My advice, use wisely, if you must. Maps, EQBC for commands, /stick for followm and most minor macros are pretty much undetectable. play safe.

I used to 3-4 box at one point. I'm only going to play one character on Ragefire (or the new one I hear about to alleviate the population on Ragefire). Two reasons: 1. People are stupid (see reasons listed above in psimoon's post) and 2. I don't want to pay for multiple accounts. =p

I have to assume it's trolling when people are going after boxing and botting are the same thing. People can't really be that dumb, can they? I can actually control 6 characters using ISBoxer. My fingers hate me afterwards, but I can do it.

I predominately use ISboxer to control my six bots. MQ2 has some nice features that help, but not really automating, such as map and MQ2moveutils. Everything else I use ISboxer for. I have social macros set up on hot key 1 and 2 on all boxes and use ISboxer key replication to do the rest.

As for how dumb people are, the anti-boxing crowd are trying to say using key replication ie you press one key on the toon you are running and it keypresses on the other boxes is automation and against the EULA. That is how stupid these people are.

These folks are also wanting ragefire to be like P99, to which I say, go play P99.

Bottom line, these ignorant people are focusing their nerd rage on other paying customers, and not on those that run the servers. On the other hand, what is the DBGs to do? make another server only to have to do a merge in a month? it is pretty much no win for these entitled whiny aholes.

And that is what grinds my gears, heh.

omg... don't even get me started... between the noobs playing eq on progression servers... and the jealous/spiteful haters of boxers... its a nightmare.

I can't even begin to count how many times I have seen noob mages in gfay/crushbone dying over and over and over and over... because they didn't know they could use their summon daggers spell to equip their pet to do more damage...... or that cleric buffs help keep your pet alive just like your toon... I even got nasty and rude responses to a few of my kind suggestions ... "don't tell me how to play.. i'm a eq veteran.. bugger off and mind your own buisiness"

It never fails to surprise me that people truly think they have a chance at raid mobs and get upset when they die within 48 hours on these servers. How some magical way that if there are no boxers, and one account per IP, the casual guy would somehow then be able to compete.

From the beginning the game has always been setup that whoever plays more has the advantage. It baffles me that 16 years later, there are people who haven't figured that out, and somehow believe THIS time will be different.

OMG and if you try to tell anyone who uses a TLP server they are wasting not just their time but yours they want to call you names, guess what, I do not give 1 single fuck! I have been tryin to be polite and PC to people as we are a board of non-flamers, but the next person who calls me a name because I am trying to help and they think I am some kind of elitist rude jerk, well I will just be one and we will see what that gets us. Yeah my advice works, on a real server, stop getting bent outta shape cause you want to be the 1st level 50 with an epic in Freeport.... SO sick and tired of TLPers acting like they are taking over RG! Sorry to rage but damn! Get over your new retro-toy and come back to the real EQ with the rest of us, use the tools we have worked hard on and lets grow.
