Question - Question - Slowing from outside group

Hi All!

I have a question. I have a 110 Shaman that is outside of a group (War, Clr, 3 Zerkers, Rng) and he is healing and casting a HoT just fine but for the life of me i cannot get him to slow any mobs. Below is what i have in his INI without any conditions. What have i messed up or have done incorrectly?

DPSSkip=20
DPSInterval=2
DPS1=Turgur's Swarm|99|debuffall|slow|always
DPS2=Cloud of Renewal|100|MA|cond1

I have looked through all of the Shaman INI's that are available to implement but i can't seem to get this to work with or without conditions. Ideally i would like my Shaman to slow all mobs prior to him casting his HoT on the tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Do you have DebuffAll on in DPS too? DPSOn=2 is also the preferred method now.

If that was already on, try it without the debuffall just to see if that's causing an issue with out-of-group targeting.

You could also try removing the |always tag. That can cause other issues, not the one you're mentioning, but maybe try without it to see.

Another question for you; The other night i was playing and i fell asleep in my chair and when i woke up all my guys were dead and the rez timers had expired. I didn't have the CampOnDeath set since i don't leave my toons unattended for more than a few minutes. In order for the CampOnDeath to work, do i need to have the option of "Auto Turn On AFK" selected or will the camp on death work without it?

I haven't tried camp on death, but I think you just need AFKTools on and CampOnDeath on. Setting =4 is for AFKGMAction if you want to quit game for any detected GM in zone. GM's can remain undetectable to MQ2 though, so it only works if they are visible.

If you want additional auto-actions for nearby players, you can look into MQ2Posse and GTFO.
