Problem - Puller targets corpse when multiple mobs camp

this is the issue I have with my bard puller when multiple mobs are pulled and mezzed. Tank wil engage the pullers primary target and dps will assist the tank and kill the pri target. Sometimes the bard will retarget or get locked on the pri targets corpse that was just killed. This causes the tank to stand there targeting the corpse while the adds release from mez and kill members of the party. It should be noted the bard puller is also Master looter so he/she will loot mobs upon death; however, looting should not occur until all mobs are cleared from agro is my understanding. I have experienced the same issue with looting turned off as well.
 
Regarding this problem, even if it's maybe not the same root.

Sometimes an mob runs (should not happen, but does at lower level), and the tank/puller stands there with the mob targeted, while getting beat by 2 other mobs.
Also if he chase an mob, while getting beat by an second. After the first one is dead he turns and fight the second, instead of returning to camp and fighting there.
 
Don't have the warrior assist the bard. Just have the tank target himself when you start him in tank mode. see if that works until i canlook into this next week
 
yah it's not urgent or anything, just been an odd occurrence. I can bypass the issue by tank assisting himself. The issue then becomes mezzing. sometimes the puller bard will keep attacking the primary mob if the tank picked up the 2nd mob on incoming. Just something I noticed so wanted to toss the issue out there.
 
When using a Puller and Tank combo. I find that having the tank assists himself and then have the puller target the tank when starting the macro. That way the puller will pull mobs to camp and then will assist the tank for the target to start killing.
 
yes I do it that way as well but sometimes mezzing can get messed up where the bard puller is mezzing the tanks target and the add is beating the bard or other members in the group etc.
 
Perhaps mcarpe is talking about how a mezzer will sometimes go after the tanks target with mez? I find that this happens all the time with an ENC, but it's no real big deal and just leads to a little extra damage on the group.
 
I find this happens ALOT and I use pullertank and my tank is the puller, sk and war. MY scenario is when I pull 3 mobs the tank wants to hit 1 and the rest of the group are hitting another and the poor chanter is just mezzing his ass off. Most fights work itself out but sometimes it causes a wipe. I see it mostly when I bring in 3 mobs and the original mob does NOT get to camp 1st so everyone seems to attack nearest target while the tank has his man!

I was thinking something on the line of adding /switch if tank target is not toon target....
 
Never had any of these issues, but I use tank(warrior) and Puller(Monk). Everyone in group assists the Tank even the Puller. Enchanter locks everything down as it gets to camp even if the last mob to camp is the Tanks Target. But I run my group with chain pulling, so the Enchanter is always keeping the adds locked down as they come into camp.

I can see where using a pullertank might create an issue with those in assist mode assisting early and the pullertank changing targets when he gets back to camp. Not sure, never used KISS in pullertank mode.

If the tanks is in role PullerTank .... all other toons should be in ASSIST role.. assisting the tank. CampRadius value should be the same on all assisting toons..... and they should be relativlely cose to one another when starting KA as to establish their camp position.

Since the tank is pulling and then tanking... he needs to have ReturnToCamp set to 1... whomever the tank has pulled....and brought back into the assisting toons' CampRadius should be the mob the toons should be assisting.... unless something freaky is going on where the MainAssist (PullerTank) is switching mobs mid fight.. it should work as described...

And PLEASE upgrae kissassist to most recent version... 8.2.5 has been outdated for 2 weeks now.

heh I didn't want to lose focus on what my original point was and just to note, it's not a terribly big deal for me.. This was more for letting you guys know of an issue that I was experiencing.
You should technically be able to as a bard puller/mezzer target the tank and run kiss as puller. Then as Tank target the bard and run kiss as tank assisting the bard. All I am saying is, that the tank will get stuck on targeting a corpse when there is a multiple mob situation, It doesn't happen al the time but it happens.

Running the tank mac w/o assisting the bard does solve the problem for me but it can mess up mezzing at times. that's all I was wanting to report.
