Problems in Devastation (1 Viewer)

So when I zone into Devastation, my chat disappears and any drop-down menu I open is blank, which is a problem cause that's how I do all my spells. Anyways in order for Sony to help me they need the following files:

DxDiag.txt file
DBG.txt file
MSinfo.txt file
EQclient.ini file
EverQuest.log file

Will any of these implicate me as an MQ user? Or does anyone know a way I can fix the problem?

Before you send anything just do this and see if that problem goes away.

/maphide lean
/maphide catapult
/maphide colum
/maphide tent
/maphide wall

That should remove over 200 spawns from your map. I had a similar problem with text disapearing in Devestation because there were just so many map spawns showing.

There is a max number of text lines that can be displayed on the EQ screen. All of the chatboxes and the map are factored into that number. When you have a fully populated map in a zone like Devestation where even the buildings are NPCs and show on the map, the buffer fills up and the first things to go are the chat boxes and drop down menues since they were the first to load

I never was able to find a way to make it auto hide those items. I eventually just made a hotkey for it.
