Powerleveling in Dawnshroud

This may have been discussed before. But I have not yet come across it so here goes:

Background: I generally three box a warrior, shaman, and wizard. However this forum has really opened my eyes to the power of bards and I decided to PL one into the lvl 40 range before actually playing a bit. (I will solo to get over the learning curve)

I do not use mq and do not use any of the gear/stat hacks so this is completely "safe".

First thing I did was to take a couple hours running around the newby zone of Freeport for a few levels. Next I escorted the now lvl 5 bard to Maidens Eye wher I boxed Radir, Zethniac, and Rumblecrush with my normal three to give him a good headstart in equipment. I also killed The Va'dynn for the same reason.

I played around with my equipment a bit in neth lair generally just slowing with shammy and killing with the bard to level 13. Most of this time was testing out the songs, weapons ect.

Dawnshroud:

At level 13 I took the bard into Dawnshroud and 4 hours later he was level 26.
I set up my bard (13) Shammy (70) and wiz (70) at the Seru entrance. There I buffed the bard up and disbanded. I used ether shin on the wiz and grabbed 4 mobs and ran to the zone. Snared them on inc and hit jylls static pulse. This puts the crawlers and small zelniacs at 20-30% The wiz hit each one a cpl times till they were under 10% and they turned to run (snared) and gated.
The bard then just chanted his aoe dam spell and hit at them till dead.

Very, very easy. Once the crawlers arn't red I would make short work of them and pull the regular zelniacs or large ones. These took either 2 statics or one larger aoe before turning.

13 levels in 4 hours (a little less but close enough)

Dawnshroud has been mentioned before ..

it is the zone i take the toon from 13 to lvl 45ish ...

using the Damage shield tech pulling 10-15 mobs with a druid ....all snared and they turn when 10% or less ...

i have PLed many a toon at the SS line

Made a little change in my methodology that ended up gaining 25-35 in about 4 hours....

Instead of pulling with the wiz I used a druid (lvl 58) I put up the self blades and regular blades and pulled about 20 zelniaks using ensnare. I would run soe speed out a ways and ensnare one working my way back to the zone in I snare everything and then cluster them a little and run into the zone entrance. There the wizard is standing with ether skin and thorns on. When the mobs are there he hits one pbaoe and evacs. That leaves them all aggroed on the druid and they get thorned to turning in seconds. succor and use aoe song and weapons and everything goes down in a minute or so. half a level or better each pull.....with pulls much more frequently and with manny more mobs
