Possible way to unban accounts (web design java script help needed)

Okay so on two different computers I opened the launchpad for the everquest billing.

On one I had a banned account, other I had an open account.

I saved the files and opened them in wordpad.

The banned one is of coarse missing the button to edit your suscritption. So I got the code for editing the subscription from the non-banned one.

I think it just might take you to end your subscription. Therefore it will open your account back up.

In case some of you didnt know, it says...

You cannot modify your subscription until the account has been closed.

If your account is closed you can re-subscribe.

Even if you think this wont work I would like to try it if anyone can resolve the above into a web address.

Of coarse you would hvae to log into a banned account via launchpad then input the full address of the javascript in.

If any of you need anymore info let me know. However if yoru willing to help with this and you have a banned account and a open account you can just visit the page yourself and save the source.

In case some of you dont know even if you navagate away from launchpad your browser keeps you logged in for quite some time, so even if bookmarked it will goto the account you were logged in as. Very strange.

But, if you can access the billing, it should in thoery open the account up to re-subscribe.

But if a web guru could find the javascripts that are going on behind the scenes maybe he/she could write there own eqplayers.com to send info in maybe.

I was diging aroung in eqplayers.com and found this javascript, its the one being used when u click on credit card or game card options after "Edit Subscription" is clicked.

The file attached is really a javascript but had to rename the extention to .txt

Dunno if this helps anyone, cna look for more scripts later.

a couple months ago there use to be a way of unbanning accounts by changing the account status to canceled from banned

thats what you would do for swg, it also worked for any other soe game, you just had to add ?action=cancelSub to the .jsp for the game. I unbanned about 10 swg accounts.

Yea i got that to, but mines is already closed, I pay one month at a time, they proyl got some checks in there now

This worked about a few months ago. But it shows they have vulnerabilities in there system.

if you submit a subsciption for a banned account, you'll get the message "Thanks, This will take effect at the end of your next billing period," but it won't change the banned status, and won't actually charge your CC.

I assume this is because there is no "next billing period".

I got my friends account banned once because he quit using it, anyways long story short, it got reactivated when they brough back all the old accounts.

They found a new way around it tho. All they have to do is put your acct on hold for lack of payment and only way to unlock it would be the billing rep to do it and thats it. Which it will show the acct was banned for this and this reason.
