Request - Position of mob around character

Hello All. I have been wracking my brain to try to figure out how to determine if a mob is behind my toon or not. I been working on the math with X and Y coords ect but I cannot come up with a solution. I couldn't find a premade character type variable for that so I was trying to figure it out organically. Anyone have any bright ideas? Thanks!

What's the bigger goal? Is it for a melee or tank toon macro and you're trying to re-position? Quest where you need to be a certain distance away?
