Version of KissAssist.mac?
12.001
When did your problem start?
weeks ago
Character Role?
  1. Assist
What class is having this issue?
  1. Cleric
How often does this issue occur?
Always
Can you reproduce the issue?
Yes
This is from my Cleric's .ini:

[DPS] DPSOn=0 DPSSize=10 DPSSkip=10 DPSInterval=1 DPS1=Yaulp|99 DPS2=Mark of Shandral|80|debuffall DPS3=Unyielding Judgment|20 DPS4=Unyielding Hammer of Zeal|90|once DPS5=Vicious Rabbit|85 DPS6=Amulet of the Drowned Mariner|80 DPS7=Miniature Horn of Unity|50|Cond5 DPS8=NULL DPS9=Turn Undead|90|Cond1 DPS10=Veturika's Perseverance|10|Cond5 DebuffAllOn=1 [KConditions] ConOn=1 CondSize=5 Cond1=${Target.Body.Name.Equal[Undead]} Cond2=NULL Cond3=NULL Cond4=NULL Cond5=${Me.PctMana}<80

Turn off DPS (DPSOn=0) means no crashing.
Turning it on means the other characters in the group poof / crash to desktop without any errors or warnings. This is the previous thread: https://www.redguides.com/community...g-eqgame-exe-to-poof-no-crash-messages.71877/

My tank is running KA without any problems, pullertank all night long. The moment my cleric turns on DPS, within 3 fights everyone else crashes.
I have tried adjusting the Interval, the percentages for each DPS line, and none of it matters. With weave, without weave, etc, it just forces the other group members to crash.
I have confirmed that when I start, the cleric will Mark the current and other mobs in camp, so the debuffall switch does work.
My cleric casts his hammer pet, uses the bunny and pirate.

Somewhere in here, I am crashing. Am I typing incorrect syntax somewhere?

I have another char logged in on another server, and they did not crash, so it somehow only affects my group or the other characters I am running in the same zone/server. It affects characters running IHC, MQ2Monk (no macro running), etc. It's just everyone in the group except this character, he stays around to see the mob soul-crush the team.

Have you tried turning off DPS line by line? I'd start with the ones running Conds. Those conds look fine to me though.

Running Dannet and mq2melee in KA cleric? Via the ini settings? Maybe turn those off in [General] and [Melee]

You can run a log of mq2 too. Once KA is running on Cleric, these in game commands (download for mq2log if needed):
INI:
/plugin mq2log load

/mlog on

/debug DPS

I am currently rebuilding the DPS from 0.
I've got Yaulp and Mark going, no crashes. I am waiting and adding a line, reloading the macro, to see what could be the crash.

Running eqbc2, I guess dannet and melee are also going - but as I mentioned, the tank is running KA without any problems. I dwwl this is more isolated to the [DPS] .ini section, since when I turn DPS off, the problems cease. The tank is running with DPS on (obviously) and there are zero problems, with the same plugins loaded.

I was not aware of the debug, thanks for the tip. ;)
EDIT: holy shit, that thing is working my data drive (where my /release/ folder is) with all of the writes it's doing.

So I crashed a few mobs after I put in:
DPS4=Unyielding Hammer of Zeal|95|once

I'll skip this and continue on, but summoning the hammer pet (or was it the spell directly following?) that caused a problem here.

This was my DPS section at time of crash:

Hmph. If you manually play the cleric and cast the hammer, does it crash the other guys? I'm not sure why the pet spell would crash your toons, but maybe it's triggering something on the other toons plugins.

Just to finish homing in, put all the other entries into DPS and skip 4, then run it for 30 mins and see if anybody crashes.

I am really really upset that I didn't think of testing in this way.

Yes, after 3 mobs or so, casting nothing but the pet and the nuke-heal on the mob crashed everyone. No macro running on the cleric.

To answer your other question, being unsure why a pet would crash the other characters, I am going to up the ante here and throw in a twist. Back several years ago, I was goofing off as a DPS-oriented Cleric. I used a pet-rename potion, and renamed my pet to my Cleric's name, making it look as if my Cleric was putting out additional melee damage (backstab etc), not my cleric's pet.
The crash happened during one of the time the cleric hammer died, making it look like it was a group member that had died. I do not know if this is causing it, but I wanted to throw that out there. While the cleric didn't die, the logfile would state otherwise.

It is possible that something in this list is triggering to kill the game when the cleric (pet) dies.

I suppose this thread needs to be renamed to "When my cleric pet dies, which is named the same name as my cleric, everyone else crashes"
Removing the pet spell from my lineup has removed my problem. Thank you @eqtrader74 for your logical approach when I was moving down the wrong path, testing the automation instead of the command (or command result) to find the exact problem.

Now I just need to test further to find which plugin is checking for the health of my cleric on all characters, finding that the cleric is still alive, and crashing to desktop as a result.

Making progress, I like it. Do you get crash reports as dmp (dump) files? What are those files named if so? They sometimes will contain the plugin name that caused the crash in the file name.

I'm guessing somehow the name/spawn ID is getting confused in one of those plugins. I'd do the same method of shutting down as many as you can, then restart them one at a time. It's hard to guess which one cause a bunch of those would be reading names/IDs like map, dpsadv, dannet/eqbc, posse, damageparser and some others.

KA will auto load some of those, IHC will load Dannet. I'm not sure which plugins chat's plugins rely on.

Do you get crash reports as dmp (dump) files?
No dump files whatsoever, and nothing in the crashed character's mq2log either, just engaging the mob and then loading of the plugins a few minutes later when I had to log them back in.

I've unloaded a bunch and will continue testing. Thank you for the support.
I did notice DPS2 (using IHC) reloaded dannet, and the tank running KA reloaded mq2posse, so I suppose a good way of testing is to cast that hammer pet and see if only one of them crashes.

Crash happened again, so it's one of these plugins causing the crash. At least I whittled it down!

One of these doesn't like to see the cleric's_pet_with_the_same_name_of_the_cleric die.

If your not using the built in DPS meter, you can unload the MQ2dpsadv plugin. That is the only plugin I see in the list that checks for others DPS output and might get confused on the clerics pet's death.

I would unload all but the core plugins and try and run kiss to see if it still crashes.
