Question - P99 Blue Macro Help

Hello,

So I recently bought a high level necromancer account and I was getting heat for my pet attacking the wrong mobs in Karnor Castle. Someone the mentioned I should make a pet assist macro to have the pet auto assist what the tank is attacking. Does anyone know how to code it?(Keep in mind I do not know anything about macros)

No coding has the is no MQ2 on p99. What he was meaning is a hotkey

With
/assist <tankname>
/pet attack

What Bard said. EQ actually holds the in game hotkeys "macro's". Those not using MQ2 would likely call it that way too. Just fyi.

I apologize if I sound extremely naive, how do I make a hotkey for this command? Also, I would like to make a text line. (petname) is now assisting (tankname) with (mob name)

The lines to do what you stated would be as follows:

/target <tankname>
/g My pet is assisting %T
/assist
/pet attack
