So you got your 2.0 shawl? Getting ready to do your 3.0??? Well the final mission before Making your shawl aug piece is a group task. In finding a person with the ability to request this it will flag you to do your final combine stage of your shawl without doing the pre required tasks! The task itself is called Trade Wars. If you box and only wanna spend the money on pre required tasks just do one toon then task add your crew and boom your all flagged to make 3.0. Note you still have to have your 2.0 this just saves you from the first 7 tasks of making the 3.0 and farming the pieces.Enjoy.

Is this for any stage of the 2.0 Shawl? or can you do it with just stage 1 of shawl 2.0? so pre raid drops or including the raid drops?

You still need your finished (Either up past shawl walk in convort(group version) or have the shawl made with first creation raid piece) All this does is skip the first seven tasks of combines required to make your 3.0 shawl. Basically if you find someone to request this task and you have your 2.0 the next step is create your 3.0 shawl piece after finishing this mission.

I can report that this is not entirely true. I found this out on my own because I TA'd my alts to the task when I did on my main. I finally got up to where i was doing the tasks from the 3.0 guy and he would only give me the shawl combine task after the first mission where you scribe the book. I could not combine my shawl so I started doing the tasks in order, I did up to "making friends" which I couldn't find a request phrase for, so I just said F this, let's try to combine the shawl again. It worked.. I didn't have to do the last four. I should have tried to combine it after doing the second task. I just finished yesterday, may third. good advise though I was going to see if anyone had posted anything on it. I think from the time you posted this and now, there was a patch and there was also a bug where you didn't need the tiger hide for certain shawl combines but they fixed that too, yet you can still skip a ton of crap if you just get TA'd to the group task still. I'm going to be in a frenzy working on my monk to get up to this point now. he's not even done the 1.0 yet.
