Safe. All it does these days is allow you to walk around stunned. You still can't attack. Perhaps if someone was dueling you and stunned you or during some raid events when most people are stunned, and yet you still are moving EVERY time that would get you ratted on, but no way SoE can catch you (it does not send packets, etc).

How safe is noaccel docrack? I don't see how it would be much different than having exactspeed set to 250. In an outdoor zone its pretty obvious when you take off at full speed. Isn't that something Sony would be looking for?

Likely. Every second or so the client sends the server a message of where you are and how far you moved since last time. Someone said the highest delta in movement you could acheive with selos is 7 (I have personally never checked). Ramping your speed above that would product high deltas. While 1 or 2 of these probably will not trigger anything, running around for 10 min certainly could be detected if they wanted to server side. I thought someone wrote MQ2Vangaurd to deal with this, but with the current state of packets, that code will not work without modification.

NoAccel should be fine -- iirc, it just detours the call to make your horse slow your down for a time when you start and stop. That said, you're still mounted -- you have to demount to do /stopcast, you get medding benefits, etc. Oh yeah, and don't forget -- nothing runs faster than a maxed bard with maxed mods, so you don't have to worry about speed checks if you're just using a horse speed.

The only thing I'd worry about with NoAccel is being seen. I do not believe they have server-side tracking for it, but you can bet your ass if a GM sees you using it, they probably will ban you, as its easy as hell to notice.

I used to get bugged with super speed, like 3-4 times selos. It would either end with me zoning somewhere and it would be fixed, or I'd ld. This happened with my first AMD dual core processor, before all the drivers that went with it fully worked.
