Multi-boxing time on laptop battery (1 Viewer)

Trying to fix my EQ addiction in airport transit, was shocked to find out battery drains very quickly to 1.5-2hrs on a 94Wh battery.

Would it related to the TDP of the CPU (60-65W)? I know it doesn't directly translate to the actual wattage tho. Or do I have a defective battery?

have you tried mq2eqwire
its not free but multiboxing on a laptop will eat thru battery life like a fat kid tearing up a chocolate cake

Yeah I'd try eqwire. It shuts off all graphics rendering for background EQ toons.

that caption was EQwire and mq2fps on, I am going to repaste my laptop as well but there is no throttling with 12 box

Throttling isn't the issue you're fighting.
No matter what you do, the more power you need, the more power is consumed.

Reduce the background resources makes a huge difference.

I can go anywhere from 90 minutes to 4 hours gaming on a 67wH battery. It's a 14 inch screen.
And everything is turned off or down.
