yea, altered each of those files. So, the way i described what i was doing was correct then? I assumed so, since mq2 will work fine doing that. Thanks

I think the offset is confusing some folks. as of 6/29/2005, the offset line in MQ2Main.h should read:

#define CDisplay__MoveLocalPlayerToSafeCoords 0x00447F4A

I think the presence of the date might have been taken too literally by some folks.

actully no, that offset is just for the succor part of the plugin, all other should acutlly work fine. just when you hit succor, you will crash.
 
Since Recent Changes In MQ2. zone and fade are taken out, i will update it. but its 6am and iam going back to bed. /gate seems to be broken. not sure if this is perm, or not. it just sits there. iam sure this has to do with the new changes when you die. anyone with real knowledge of this, please let me know if totally broken or not.. Zone and fade will be back (i hope) just to tierd to mess with it atm.. Enjoy.

zone gate and fade are broke. untell someone that really knows there shit can fix basiclly.

used to make "fd" show your corpse on your screen, and then return you to bind point... gate... but now it no longer returns you to bind. it just sits there showing your corpse. EQ changed the call of dieing is my guess. untell someone that knows there shit comes around and tells me how to fix this. ( or fix it them selfs.) zone fade and gate will be broke sadly

Not needed anymore, because MQ2-Devs put back in ZoneBoundID ;-)

well - here we go. used Riddlerr's modified source to compile without /fade and /zone. /warp is working fine.
 
the mq2ultrawarp in souls compile works with warps.. justnot gate and zone.. works good too 8-)
 
anyone posted working code with /gate, /fade, /zone yet? or anything other than just warp? /gate probably the one i need the most :)
 
i thought cades compile had a working warp WP and gate.. just not zone

i could be wrong 8-)
 
I'm updating it rigth now, you SHOULD have a working zone soon
 
i can update mine here. seems to work for everyone but me.. thought it was just cause i have a 64 bit processor. but didnt work on my other comp... so shrug.
 
will any changes need to be made to the eqgame.h files etc? or should i just leaave that stuff alone and recompile with updated code?
