Havn't tried the most recent gank to see if it works, but gank is included in MQ2pax so plug that in and test it out.

do you pop up in front of someone when using it? I tried looting with ghost doing the library quest and was seen. I had to kiss a little but to get out of it lol..

/gank = warp/pickup targeted item/warp back...really fast

Yup, /gank and /hailtarget (along with /saytarget) will almost surely have you seen by anyone that's looking at the npc you're doing hailing or the item you're ganking.
