MQ2Bot

Posted new version.

This version should work better for bard songs, previously i had a > and < flipped around so songs that cost mana would have not worked so well.
Added mage Cauldron of Many Goods series (including the lower level versions) of clickies to auto click and auto inventory. It is a 20 min recast so I only got to test a couple clicks. If any items other than Crystallized Sulfur appear on icon when you fail to get any of the normal items, please let me know. However, if you use the lower level versions, you need to have something /autoinv for you. I only coded in to /autoinv the new items.

Also added in a buffer for when you try to cast AA mod rod. It should be less inclined to cancel that spell.

AAs were canceling songs before trying to cast. Changed that for bard because you can do instant AAs without stopping songs.

-Bards should /bottwist off automatically when you zone or use the /invis command.
-Added /coth group, so that you can use the new group version. **note that MQ2Cast currently only lets you mem and use spells that have 14 seconds or less refresh timer. Group spell is like 16 seconds memorization time. MQ2Cast needs bumped to~20 seconds to accommodate this. until it is bumped though, youll have to use the command twice if you have to mem the spell. Once it is added in, youll only need one request.
-Dumped all stored spawns upon zoning. This should alleviate some crashing during zoning.
-couple other misc items.

If you are using the UseStick=1 setting to follow your leader around, you should now /stick off prior to trying to engage any mobs in melee.
Self only heals will no longer attempt to be used on others.

Apparently MacroQuest TLO is broken. Updated it to use EverQuest TLO instead for authorizing via your SOE login for those that are authorized.

no although if you use mmobugs with it and are authorized you get full access to the plugin. Otherwise i think you only get 3 spells per spell group (heals/dps) etc pretty sure its only limited during testing.

No. This should work with redguides/vanilla/mmobugs standard servers. Having a subscription there just makes it easier for me to authorize all your accounts at once because mmoloader (the tray app that runs in the background) has an authorization hook in it. I enforced authorization as a way to get feedback. People see they like it, they want full access for the little bit extra it gives you, they tell me whats broken/how to improve it. I give them full access. If not on mmobugs, i authorize by your SOE login.

I'd like to see this bot have a loot option in it - looton=1
It does, but it requires you to use mq2advloot. Maybe I will eventually get internal looting added, but I am using existing plugins to handle things where possible rather than recreate the wheel. I only redid twist because it was annoying me. I will probably redo mq2cast internally because I just need a simple version and some slightly different things for it. Anyway, the loot settings to use mq2advloot are:

So far the newest version is not lagging near as much, but it is causing some crashing. My cleric has gone down twice in about 2 hrs.

Any ideas what you were doing at the time? I can get the exact line of code if I am able to reproduce it myself. Makes for easy fixes when I can find the crash myself.

I will watch it a little closer and get back to you. I was afk and came back to it crashed. My bard has been running it for about 8 hours and hasn't crashed at all.

Is there a return to camp option? Reading the wiki now :-)

You would use the /makecamp command that is part of mq2moveutils if you want to set up a camp. Otherwise you can use the UseStick=1, StickSettings=30 healer and it will keep your guys at your group leader whenever you arent fighting. A mobile makecamp version, if you will. I find setting my puller as leader, then just turning on/off the group puller role as needed so they follow me is the easiest for me. I typically manually play my puller and let the rest be botted.

Do you know if this conflicts with Kissassit? I am testing this on my bard and a cleric, soon to add a wizard. Works great with my toons. There are thing I would love to add, but it does what I need.

Now... My cleric doesn't use KA so I can't confirm this BUT with my bard I'm having trouble using KA after I started using mq2bot. My bard starts well, but when I come back to check on my group, standing around. a pile of corpses (bard is looter) and he'sI just use standing there doing noting. Not twisting, not buffing, etc. I can click a buff or manually attack and the bard resumes. After a while, its back to standing around. Lazy bum. Since this is happening, I just use mq2bot! Maybe its a trick to get us to use it! :-)

I did kisscheck and don't see any errors at all.

Also unloading the plugin, rebooting computer, reinstalling MQ2, and deleting the bot stuff from my file doesn't change anything.
 
mq2bot uses an internal /bottwist rather than mq2twist and /twist. It looks like i didnt have it auto /bottwist off when you /bot off or unload the plugin. I will add those. For now, you should be able to /bottwist off in between plugin and macro so there arent 2 things both trying to do the same thing.

as far as it still happening after the plugin is unloaded.. i have no idea. it only touches the [MQ2Bot] section of your server_name.ini and Mob_Ignore_List.ini in your macros folder. It would not in anyway interact with a KISS ini. If something in KA is setting ${Looting} or ${Pulling} to true in the macro, it will pause mq2bot from doing anything and youll stand around until those go to 0 or FALSE again.
 
Finally got a chance to try this, just got it going with my mage so far and right off the bat his DPS jumped up 6k. 2 problems I have found so far though related to werewolf form from the shammy buff, if it's not blocked it will go into a loop trying to buff himself with elemental fire form and it will also go into a loop trying to buff his pet with host in the shell and cast it nonstop.

It says it's just working partially now? How would I go about getting the full version working?

You can get full version by providing feedback. The wiki (linked in first post) has the differences between partial and full access along with all the other settings (or most, I need to update it from last week or two). You can also earn a month's worth of free redcents and full access by providing the focused feedback i mention a couple posts up. I would need to add your SOE username to a list that is internal to the plugin. From above:

@ illusions. I will create a TLO member and a separate INI setting for using an illusion when I get a chance. I have seen the spam too and just blocked werewolf. I am traveling the next 1-4 days so I wont get any updates during that time frame.
 
Well Pete, I tried this out on my Cleric. It had her healing better than my merc and worked great for about 45 minutes. Then it crashed. Sadly, I did not have mq2log running. Will try it again this evening and be sure to have log running so that when it crashes, I can send you the log file.
 
I posted I can test it on my wizard Monday but then someone deleted my post :) I will try and get to it in the morning.

Seems to be a lot of mage issues, it will use first spire whenever it's up, even on one trash mob. It will buff the tank with magmatic veil and then get stuck in a loop trying to buff himself with it after malo'ing a mob, will just chain cast it and not cast damage spells

Will also send the pet after whatever is in first hater slot regardless of what the tank is on so it will keep trying to attack a mezzed mob.

Uhh.. what? There are no mounts that should be detecting as a SelfBuff. What buff is your SelfBuff0?

Intended:
You always kill first mob that is aggro on your XTarget list. If you want to kill tanks target, set your xtarget 1 as group tank's target.
Yes, spire is used as ready. I would need to add in a SpireIf setting to change that.

Unintended:
I guess I never used magmatic veil on mage during testing. Short term suggestion is to demem the spell. I will try to address it when I get a chance.
 
In that case Pete, I did indeed use it incorrectly. I literally copied and pasted that into my clerics ini. Then I added the item needed to summon the mount. I'm horrible when it comes to coding and although I read your post about it, I didn't see any real instruction on how to properly add it. Current SelfBuff0 is Hand of Reliance.

If there are junky discs that are blocking something else from detecting I can hardcode those in to be ignored. I will get those added in hopefully this weekend.

-Updated to GetTickCount642, it should work with winXP now. Seriously though, update your OS.
-Added /removeaura, /removeaura 1, /removeaura 2. default value is 1. removes first or second aura, respectively.
-Added /inviteraid <-- invites up to 54 guild members within 1000 range that arent already in your raid.
-Added /invitegroup <-- invites up to 5 guild members within 600 range that arent already in your group, up to whatever room is available in group.

Those statements will let you add commands that you would like to do whenever you turn the bot on or off. Default is blank, and if set to blank, they do nothing.

Known issues:
"haste" nor "Talisman of Celerity" work to request it from shaman, ive tried hardcoding it in and even that doesnt work. Seems to be an error with it because it is both a spell and an AA with same name but diff IDs.

Debuffs that cast more than 1 thing dont always assign timers correctly, notable Falhotep's Malosenia.. I will try some other things to get it to work.

Paladin Inquisitor's Judgement is also refusing to play ball due to misspelling. Will figure out a hardcode for it as well.
 
i bought all the ones from 96+ in both RoF and CotF none are rk.II, but dude the bot is awsome its jsut the rogue keeps crashing
let me know if i can be of more assistance, i am trying to get it unlocked for full version:)
 
Ok, I am 95% sure I see what it is @ rogue crash. One of the SOE devs screwed up the combat ability timer. It is -1 instead of 0 for Conditioned Reflexes. This should fix it, but I cant test it out. So let me know if it works and I can get you added as an authorized user (requires your SOE login name btw) if you PM me your info.

So i had turn undead and turn summoned, etc all added but my spell validation keeps storing last known information incorrectly. So once you kill a single undead mob, it thinks all mobs are undead and will try undead aa/spells, even though i flush the memory every pulse and specifically check body type each add.

The problem I was running into is that necro smoldering bones line changes Target.Body/.BodyType to be undead even when it wears off. So the mob isnt really undead, but mq2 tells you it is and tries to chain cast spells that wont land. My solution is to store the body type upon initial aggro of the mob. But for some reason it is storing it across mobs and body types and I cant seem to get it fixed yet. I am aware they need added back in and i will get it worked out once I come up with an alternative method. I'm holding out for an epiphany!

i do small time programing and have not tried any coding on this so if what i say makes no sense hehe sorry. mq2bot assists based off xtarget. maybe you can fake it into believing all xtargets are regular mobs. then when a mob is added to xtarget it checks to se if its undead. when all mobs are cleared it resets all xtargets back to normal have it cast smit the wicked or turned spells based off what each xtarget is?

That is how I already perform the body check.

I have no idea why it would select heroic bond, but you can certainly disable it by making an if statement in the ini. ie, if it is SelfBuff0 when it turns on or you use the spells.mac, then make: SelfBuffIf0=0, and that will stop it from checking. Most sections have if statements at this stage, though not all. So if you only want to do AA1 while your favorite disc is running and mob is above 50% hp: AAIf1=${Me.ActiveDisc.Equal[favorite disc]} && ${Target.PctHPs}>50

This also solves your on/off idea.

-Only classes that can use discs will have disc settings in ini.

-Fix pet heal crash
-Ether-Fused Shard should stop trying to cast if out of charges
-Disabled detection of all the punch in the throat line for zerkers, uses cry line instead
-Savage Spirit and Untamed Rage should now only attempt if not using a disc already.
 
not sure if it is jsut me or not, usintg the new very vanilla compile for the 16th and mq2 bot crashes everytime i /bot on, on every class i have tried
