Question - MQ2AutoLoot vs ADVLoot vs Ninjadvloot

I am kind of confused as to what is looting what, as far as I can tell both MQ2AutoLoot and Ninjadvloot are running in the KA macro. Personally I would like to just run MQ2AutoLoot to KISS but any advice would be appreciated.

Remember I am a complete noob and will have to have things explained to me as if I were a 6 year old Some of the knowledge you guys assume everyone knows, is not known by me.

Set loot in KA to off:
LootOn=0

This will keep Ninjadvloot from running.

This will let MQ2Auto loot to control looting.

You will want to set some hotkeys to add/set things in the ini in game. It automatically keep any new items, just make the hotkeys for the ones you will use. The /SetItem Gear is very useful for doling out gear to your group.

/SetItem Keep -> Will loot. '/AutoLoot deposit' will put these items into your personal banker.
/SetItem Deposit -> Will loot. '/AutoLoot deposit' will put these items into your guild banker.
/SetItem Sell -> Will loot. '/AutoLoot sell' will sell these items to a merchant.
/SetItem Barter #n -> Will loot, and barter if any buyers offer more then #n plat.
/SetItem Quest #n -> Will loot up to #n on each character running this plugin.
/SetItem Gear -> Will loot if your the specified class up to the number listed in the ini entry.
/SetItem Ignore -> Will not loot this item.
/SetItem Destroy ->The master looter will attempt to loot and then destroy this item.
/SetItem Status -> Will tell you what that item is set to in your loot.ini.
/SetItem help -> Will list the previous commands

I just used this MQ2AutoLoot guide the other day and it was easy to set up for my group.

AutoLoot and Ninja are options on having KA loot corpses. I think Ninja was the default for a long time.

AdvLoot is the EQ in game system. You can set it to reject certain items or need/greed roll. Can also set a group master looter to simplify control. It works in connection with AutoLoot/Ninja.

I think this was the part I was missing. I did find the post you linked and read through most of it but it didn't really say how all the different loot things interacted.
