From time to time MQ2 wont appear in the icon tray after starting, but shows in the task manager as a background service. Usually a simple restart of the PC solves this issue.
Today how ever, I was getting crashes just as entering the world... so while troublshooting that (closing MQ2, loading into EQ normally... works) trying to restart MQ2 (which resulted in crashing an already open EQ session) it again loaded in the background.
Restarting the PC this time did not fix the issue (argh!)
How ever, renaming the MQ2 folder, and getting a fresh download of MQ2, seems to have done the trick.
I could not find any reference to this issue, so I figured since someone else might run into this, I might as well make a post about it.
