Problem - mq2 or eqgame is out of date after computer restore

i am getting an error:
the date and time of eqgame was not what mq2 expected it to be. and shows a date from February as the restore was from march 8th. i tried running the patcher for eq and validating game assets as well and everything is right in eq. i run the updater for mq2 and nothing comes up to update. and i keep getting this error when i try and actually load mq2. there were varying answers when i did a search of the forum and there wasnt much information, which is why i am asking here. can someone please tell me what to do, so i can play please? thank you

have you repatched your everquest via the launchpad?

I would download VV again since you appear to have tried to patch both EQ and MQ2. Install it in a new location and then run the patcher from that one. If all is well you should be able to go to your other install and grab any macros/INI files you may need from it.

hi i am getting this error now about the time and date is wrong but i have been playing for 2 days after the patch logged on today and im getting the erroe?

Eq devs patched the Exe file last night. the only way to fix this error atm is EQ launchpad bypass, untill they repatch mq2.
Sicprofundus has posted easy fix for time being
