Problem - MQ2 Nav Malfunction

February 7th (Sunday) MQ2Nav was functioning appropriately. However, on February 8th numerous issues occuring. I'm receiving reports from guildies that boxes are running in random directions and pulling adds into camp. I've wiped from this issue earlier today also.

To clarify, if I nav all my boxes to whichever toon I'm driving from, the boxers run to my driver then never stop moving. The boxes move erratically in all directions. It's like they are trying to run to an exact position but are unable to reach it because its occupied, and so they never stop moving. Even as we speak, my boxes won't stop moving. It seems the /nav target command is the point of failure (for whatever reason).

Additionally, my boxes (melee) aren't moving to attack targets correctly, and when they Return To Camp the erratic movements begin.

Hoping we can get a fix for this soon.

Please ask questions if you require clarification.

Thank you!

this sounds like 1 of 2 things.

either you have afollow stuck on (like clicked your follow me and forgot to unclick it when your toons are trying to use nav and return to camp and now they're fighting doing both)

or

you have min background fps set in your Alt-O eq settings (Alt-O -> Advanced Tab -> Max. Background FPS -> You want this at LEAST 30, pref 60+) - which will cause a whole host of issues with background toons trying to complete automated tasks - like returning to camp and they start swirling in circles and doing weird stuff.

it could be a 3rd thing where you are at a bad spot on your mesh - some meshes end up with "layers" and your toon will do the dynamic recalculation on the overlap and cause a similar issue - you could eliminate this rather quickly by just moving to another area

I'm boxing 25 toons. This could very well be the issue. I lowered FPS to 5 sometime between yesterday and today, and my friends are boxing 4 groups also. I'm impressed you were able to troubleshoot this so fast.

Lowering FPS settings and will report results. Just kind of difficult because I'm in a DZ atm and it seems I need to reload zone first?

eq does "work" during the fps cycles - if you were "normal" boxing (as in not using automation" you would want to have low frames in the background - but since we want eq to "do work" we need to provide it frame cycles to process and do that work.

if you haven't looked into mq2eqwire it is well worth the $10 a year - it allows you to keep your frame cycle - but it just doesn't *render* the screen while its in the background which is super sweet.

My God, my CPU/ GPU usage dropped from like 80% to 33%. Problem is fixed.

You and that addon are a life safer. EVERYTHING is faster. Swapping Zones, Loading Screens, Reactions, etc...

I also subbed to you on YouTube! Going to check out your material. Seems top notch.

Much appreciated brother.
