Problem - MQ2 assisting

I tried to do griklor last night with my sk,2 berserkers,cleric,bard,mage. I use MQ2 for zerkers. All of my toons are still noobie so my dps isnt all that great yet. So griklor will go back to air if he isnt killed fast enough and spawn some mobs. Problem is my zerkers will try and chase him and gets stuck in loop. Any fixes for this?
Also on a side note I'm a little disappointed with the zerkers dps. I bought into the hype of how badass they are but my mage out dps them all of the time.

Your mage will not out dps them for long. Get your AAs and dex augs. They will make your mage look like a joke. I used to roll with 2 mages. Make sure you have /zerk switchwithma on. That will make the zerks change target with the tank.

Sic has a video of him destroying Grik. I don't even have half the dex augs yet and im killing grik before he ever takes off in air. I do have a lot of AAs now though. I believe most are doing it in under 20 seconds now. Its worth it I was in same boat as you.

Ya I've seen the video. He tears it up! I dont have any progression stuff done on any of my toons and lack of money makes it hard to get geared. It's a work in progress.
