Question - Merc vs Heroic Character (1 Viewer)

Can anyone think of an advantage to using a merc over a heroic character?

I'm thinking of turning my group of 3 toons / 3 mercs into 6 toons.


Money is the only thing I can think of - so I guess my question is what's better:

A level 100 silver account warrior running KISS, or a level 100 merc tank? Same question for KA7 silver account cleric/rogue/wiz vs their merc counterparts

Honestly, if your computer can handle it, a properly AA'd cleric with a good ini will do better than a merc healer. It takes a bit of tweaking though (I still haven't quite figured it out).

EDIT: Also, it seems like merc healers do a better job at healing pets than KA healers. I haven't figured that out yet...

I run tank on gold for the ac augs and the rest of the team silver.

I am gladful to be rid off mercs thanks to this site /cheer

j5 Mercs with Max aa are insane I am talking healers

I always thought mercs fail at grouphealing, they might be awesome at single healing, but toon > merc on groupheals.
