Mana Check (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to make a simple macro and want to have a check that will see what level the casters mana is at, and trigger a sit and wait command, I just don't know the command/syntax I would need to use to check mana level (either in actual mana or in percentage) If anyone could lend me some advice on this it would be appreciated!

Check it from another toon or in a macro running on that toon?

I want the toon running the macro to check it's own mana. Basically I'm just trying to skill up my caster's spell skills, so want it to chain cast a spell until it gets to say 10% mana then just issue a sit command for a few minutes and loop back again.
