Problem - Mage won't mem the level 118

When did your problem start?

As soon as I turned 118 and got the spell

What class is having this issue?

Good evening everyone.

I'm having a strange issue with my mage ever since I got his latest 118 mage heal spell. I have it set up to memorize the spell and to cast it as the healing spell for his pet, however, when I load kissassist, it tells me that I do not have the spell in my spellbook. I've looked up other mage Kissassist ini files and copied/pasted the spell name from them and it still doesn't work.
I've also tried respelling it in every different way possible.

I've included a screenshot of what the error looks like and here is my spell section of the ini file.

Not sure if this is the problem but it looks to be spelled wrong. It starts with 2 i's.
I copied and pasted from your ini into word file and you have it starting with "L"

try copy and paste right from the link below - ive had this problem before with coping from another ini.

If the game imported his gems, then the capital / uppercase i will look like a lowercase L , capital "I" lowercase "l" .... just my two cents

What I would do if you did NOT have your INI import your spellgems for you, I would go into your mage INI file, select gems1-13 and DELETE them, then save your INI file... and RESTART your Kissassist... it will import the SpellGems you have mem'd at the time you start KissAssist...

So.... just tried that.... I went in, deleted the lines for the spells. saved the file. restarted kissassist and then did a /writespell while kissassist running
typed /end to end the macro, removed the heal spell from slot 11, and then ran kissassist again.

I received the exact same error. So now I'm even more confused since the game wrote the spell name itself???

dbg has a trailing space in the raw spelling of the rank 1 name, which causes problems

OH WOW!!!!!!

ok.... so I actually looked at that before Sic, but because I was using the RK.II version of the spell, I disregarded it. However, when I went in and manually added an extra space Between spell and RK, it worked....

The thing I find odd is that I acxtually used kissassist to write the spell gem for me and it still didn't work until I manually edited it.

Anyway, once again.... Sic ftw. thanks dude!!!!

DUDE!!! Love the fact that you and others tried! That thing had me stumped for over a week....eventually I gave up on my main char and just played low level char cuz it drove me nutz.

And no joke... @Sic (most often than not), has THE answer to the problem; other times, I feel like I've truly /stumbled over it through trial and error... I'm not fancy with MQ2, but I do constantly try to learn here and there and then implement and refine my MQ2 stuff... so far, I feel more comfortable than when I first started.
