Question - Mage Pulling

Is there a way to pull faster with a Mage? I am using an Earth Pet and pet pulling and he roots them away from my camp. Any way to tweak this? 105 Mage

Also Pet won't Break Mez. If mob is mezzed, MQ window gives me an error.

I also use a mage as my puller.
Try using PullerPetTank with your Malo AA as your pull spell. (It causes no damage if you're dealing with summoning mobs)

And what about pet not breaking MEZ? Is there a way to do that?

By putting a damage spell in the section titled "PetBreakMezSpell=" your Mage SHOULD break mez on next mob when its time to wake one up.

I never had great luck using a mage to pull with a pet AND having them wake mezzed mobs.

To keep your earth pet from casting root, just use the in-game EQ command that makes your pets stop casting anything. You have to check the pet affinity/pet focus aa's to get the actual command because I forget, but it's something like /pet nocast (similar to /pet focus).

malo is a great spell to pull with, however, using a lower level X of Many spell, will allow you to pull through walls and other geometry.

Like all bolt / spear type spells it has two potential damage parts, one at a closer range where the mob will immediately aggro, and one at long range where the bolt graphic actually has to reach the mob
