- Version of KissAssist.mac?
- 12001
- When did your problem start?
- some days ago
- Character Role?
- Tank
- What class is having this issue?
- Shadow Knight
- How often does this issue occur?
- Always
- Can you reproduce the issue?
- yes, whenever i try to change target, my tank may choose to switch back/ will switch back if a named is somewhere around
The title already describes, what I would like to achive. I am going to describe it in more details.
Actually I am totally happy with EQ and kissassist. I have a nice party of ppl, with which I play at set times. Thanks to kissassist I can now progress my main and my alts, even while the people I play most with are not online. This brought me to a point, where I now have a team of 6 chars, who, thanks to kissassist I can play all together. I can go to any Zone in Tov and hunt down the nameds .... so I am actually doing the Hunter Quest for all of them.
As the team grows up and get stronger, I would like to try to set my feets also into the hero tasks. To be able to do that I need to adopt the functionallity of the Tank:
/mac kissassist_12001 tank
Usually I play the Tank flagged as ma and let the other assist him. What I would like to change to the Tank-role: stop the behavior to autotarget the mobs ... I would like to be able to control at any given time, which mob to target / switch target at my will at any time, even to be able to swap target from a "named" to a trash of my will.
What I tried so far: /backoff, /switchnow and combinations of them. I cannot achive that the tank switches target and stays on the new given target. IF thers a named around he insists to focus on the named.
Than I tried to change approach:
/mac kissassist_12001 manual +2 socials

those get written in the mq2-window when I push the buttons, but have no effect.
than I tried a more standard approach:
create a social in the eq-way:
/pause 10, /togglevariable AggroOn 1
/pause 10, /togglevariable peton 1
.
.
If I try this, only the first line is echoed with the acknowledgement: "Setting (AggroOn) to (on)" ... the following lines are seemingly ignored.
Finally here are my Questions:
Is it possible to achive the behavior "/mac kissassist_12001 tank -autotarget" starting with the approach "/mac kissassist_12001 manual"?
Which variables on top off the ones I could find and list above I would need to toggle?
What is the right syntax to toggle all of them with 1 Button to push?
Thanks to those who took the time to read all of this stuff ant maybe even think about my questions
