What's the point of this? I know(i think, lol) you are supposed to use this command on the toon you want to actually play...but it seems like more of a PITA than anything. Now maybe I just have some settings wrong, but I like to play my tank and this prevents me from being able to switch targets to gain aggro....is there anyway to turn this off? b/c it also makes it so I can't switch on my enchanter (who i actually wanna use kissassist with) to mez/charm. The mez section in kissassist takes forever for the enchanter to do anything so I'd rather just do this manually.

The switching target thing is MQ2Melee not KA. you can setup a hot key /backoff if your running KA and that will toggle the sticking issue you have with Melee.

i dunno, whenver i /end with kissassist running i can swap thru targets freely. However it appears having dpson=0 allows me to swap thru targets freely on my enchanter. But still wondering what's the point of using kissassist manual? or if there's any reason to turn it on at all on the character I want to control.

Kiss manual is a base starting point to play your toon and toggle on the functions you want at any particular time.
After you start you can /buffson so you play the toon but they will automatically buff.

Also allows other toons using kiss to see you in the kiss_buffs.ini file too so they know you exist to buff.

I will look at adding /stick off to the manual mode

I use the kissassist manual setting all the time, never have trouble switching targets..but maybe my MQ2melee file is set differently.

In manual mode you can turn on the features you want and leave off the ones you don't.

I use /buffson to keep my personal buffs up, this keeps me from having to use 12 downshits to do it. It works well keeping those pesky shortterm mitigation buffs that need recasting after every fight.
I haven't played around with trying to use other features so don't really know the proper ways to turn them on.
